About Me
Hi, I'm Darla Krieger, a professional doula, and I trained with ToLabor (formerly A.L.A.C.E). My husband Thomas and I live in Monroe and raise our five children here. Having given birth once in a hospital, assisted by an obstetrician, and four times at home, assisted by licensed midwives (all non-medicated, and intervention-free), I've come to not only trust my body, but the process of childbirth has solidified my confidence as a mother. After attending my first birth in 1994, I felt a calling to support women during childbirth.
I am passionate about encouraging women to trust birth as a natural, normal, safe, and family-centered process, that usually does best without much outside intervention. As a doula, I offer educational, physical, and emotional support during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Through my work, I hope to help women have the birth experience they desire, as well as honor the sacred and transformational aspects of that process. Birth is an incredible life-event and it's an absolute honor for me to assist women and their families during this time.
HAPPY BIRTHING~
